Wiring Pathways

  • Install cables in either standard wiring channels or additional raceway under each base unit only.
  • When installing cables, remove all channels and corners along the path of intended cable travel prior to installation.
  • Use care to avoid installing cables under the load-bearing base support legs to avoid power failure or damage to cable jacketing
  • Use robber grommets if necessary to avoid potential strain on cables against metal floor components.
  • Do not pull or tug on the cables during removal or repositioning. Gently lift the cables out of the existing location. Pulling cables can cause power failure or damage to cable jacketing.

 

Precautions

  • Wear Hand Protection: Always wear work gloves when handling the FreeAxez system components.
  • Avoid Moisture: Keep water and all moisture off the components. Keep the channels and all the areas under the floor free from moisture.In the event of a spill, remove the channels (and base, if necessary) and wipe up the moisture with a dry cloth.
  • Avoid Excessive Loads: Install reinforcing units before placing an item that exceeds the capacity load. Be careful not to exceed the load-bearing specifications.
